Notes:
Following the release of the Harsh EP, Eat Up, a collaboration between
MC Matt Harsh and beat maker Tim Baily, Chris Jeckel (who frequently
battled Harsh) was compelled to put down a few tracks of his own with
the assistance of the young up and coming beat maker L. Wasserman. One
of which, Talk to Me, immediately caught the attention of Baily, who
like members of The Invisible also worked at Record Service at the
time. As soon as Baily heard the track he expressed interest in
collaborating with Jeck who was then granted access to the entire
library of Baily beats to cherry pick from. Jon Pines had already worked
with The Invisible on a number of albums and so the choice was simple
when it came to finding a producer. Most of the tracks were recorded and
mixed at Private Studios except Friday Flow which features highlights
from Jeck's Q101 appearances, and Insight which was recorded at
Polehouse. The album cover, which features drawings by Tristan Duke
(Infinity Light Science), was only included with the first version of
the release. It was re-released with electric guitar by Phil Summers in
place of the sample which was originally featured on Opening Statements,
and the second edition has the Dave King (Duke of Uke) artwork that had
been the back cover, printed instead directly on the disc in a jewel
case with no sleeve.
