Related: 2019 was a busy year (for Digitalia), being the same year Eureka Brown & Co. made Cassette Store Day (October 12, 2019) as Digitalia Records, with the Paradiso single "To Get to the Other Side." Having been approved on, or around, the original submission deadline, but after Brooklyn Vegan's premature "full list of exclusive titles," it was the last of the last CSD for the infamous Burger Records, "one of the fastest growing independent record labels of all time." The only artist from Eugene to ever make CSD, it was described in the 2019 CSD RELEASES catalogue as "Lo-Fi Urban Tropicalia out of Eugene, OR."

Jazz at "The Table": On the Air with Guido Sinclair, was also manufactured in the fall of 2019, and distributed around Champaign-Urbana throughout the month of November. An interview was given then, to CU Blogfidential, which never saw publication, and yet maybe some day will. The effort to reach as many former patrons of "The Table" as could be found opened the door to release Variety in Motion, Volume 1, on Digitalia. That is, the only studio recording of Guido, performing his own original musica 1988 Pogo session with the producer of Hum's Downward Is Heavenward.

The only known copy of the album is an individual cassette that's been collecting dust in the archives at the University of Illinois music building for the last 33 years! It's hoped, however, that with the recent surge in interest in the The Pan-Afrikan Peoples Arkestra (a group Guido co-founded along with Horace Tapscott), with reissues by Soul Jazz Records, as well as Nimbus West, we might help this record finally reach a new generation of eager listeners.
