Notes:

Following the physical release of hand-colored tapes for Cassette Week 24, and the October 30th digital premier that followed a few weeks later, that download version of Dub Pop 24 became available on November 1st. Fifteen tracks with all fifteen acts. It was listed on BrooklynVegan in September and previewed on Dandelion Radio in January.

The Cassette Week 26 edition of Dub Pop 24 will include Omega Man, a jaunt named after a personage from a dream, and the jazz noir dream pop ballad closer To the Stars. Taking the project's frequent cinematic ambience to new heights, with eerie metallic groanings for a sky matrix outro, they subtly blend electronics with orchestral avant-garde pop (15 made, hand-colored).

In memory of Karl Bauer.

* (5/26/25) Sequel - Groove Timber

The latest Dub Pop 24 drop is what one's come to expect from Digitalia—cryptic avant-garde dance-punk with a multidimensional underbelly.

** (9/24/25) Dreams Come True - Eureka Brown

The gothic tropicalia Dreams Come True, by Eureka Brown, caps the '25 edition of Dub Pop 24, along with Groove Timber's Sequel, both included here as secret songs.

**** (7/25/26) Omega Man - Eureka Brown

The Cassette Week 26 edition of Dub Pop 24 will include Omega Man, a jaunt named after a personage from a dream. Is it an alien? Is it an angel? Is it a ghost? What's the difference? Taking Dub Pop 24's cinematic ambience to new heights, with eerie metallic groanings for a sky matrix outro, it subtly blends electronics with orchestral avant-garde pop. Being our first production since the passing of Polehouse co-founder Karl Bauer, it includes biophony from hospice and was recorded with his five string bass.

*** (7/25/26) To the Stars - The Invisible

The final inclusion on the Cassette Week 26 edition of Dub Pop 24 will be the jazz noir dream pop ballad closer To the Stars—a cosmic country death eater with equal parts pretty & pain.

Happy Blue features an excerpt from The Squirrel (c. 1986), off Jazz at "The Table": On the Air with Guido Sinclair, with flute outtakes by Tom Paynter (c. 2007), from Future Vision of the Digital Universe. Prequel features an excerpt from Send in the Aquanauts, an unreleased outtake from the self titled 1998 Groove Timber cassette. For the Children has a sample from a song called Monsters, by original High Street Orchestra contributor A. Hapke. Polehouse Rock features an excerpt from an untitled Royal Electric instrumental, from an unreleased Mass Music session (c. 2008). The backing track for Sequel is a revised edit of an instrumental called Terrible Discretion, from the self titled 1998 Groove Timber cassette. Jeck appears on Happy Blue. K. Bauer of The Invisible appears on Escape from Planet Earth.
