Secondary Affiliations, Etc: Karl Bauer was involved with the second attempt to make a sophomore Swoon album and performed live frequently with the incarnation of the band that included former Hammerhead Records label mate Chris Burley of Kai Mera. Karl was co-founder (Scooter) of CU spoof frat Pi Omega Omega and their house on New Street which served as sometime host for the annual POO formal was also the first location of Polehouse, where the early Groove Timber recordings and half of the first Invisible album were made. Moose lived there mostly, and for a time Norm, one of the bass players from Tractor Kings. On a side side note; Rick Didjit (I believe) was known to drop by from time to time! Eureka Brown (Kris Bauer) sat in once for guitarist Hayden Clur during a Mike 'N Molly's Sugar Gliders set. Kris Bauer began as a student of the Mus 134 Intro Recording Studio class with Mark Rubel at Pogo that made the Rectangle Prowl Across the Arctic EP with Matt Talbott (Hum) and Rick Valentin (Poster Children) in 1998. He was personally introduced to both Talbot and Jay Bennet (Wilco/Titanic Love Affair) during routine visits to Private Studios, which was next door to the primary Polehouse location on Western Ave. He recorded two gospel blues albums for the Polehouse label imprint (distinct from the studio) between 2010-2014. David Brown played the yellow hand drum seen in the 2017 Digitalia Records band photo at the first Groove Timber show in 1997, with Absinthe Blind (Adam & Seth Fein) at the annual UHS tailgate party. He is also said to have sat in on drums for Plain White T's, and he worked for Victory Records in Chicago. Joe Donhowe used the name Imaginary Posse after Karl Bauer suggested it. Joe later went on to work with Keith Cleversley (Transmissions from the Satellite Heart) on his Emotional Rec Club debut. Duckman used an unreleased Invisibility track for 99 Victims and a Bag full of Guns, and the final Chris Black Invisible line-up shouted out the chorus line for his In Your Head theme song. The International Bomb Squad album sold on the In Your Head website was a Big Jolt/Library Card Hustle joint release from the same time as When Eggs Go Rotten. Jeck provided lead vocals for a VIP Triple Whip set at Santanu Rahman's Kung fu studio, and backing vocals for an Invisible Show at Cowboy Monkey during the string of shows that were scheduled to include drummer Seth Fein following Kipp Wilfong's departure. Larry Gates (Lorenzo Goetz/Curb Service) is said to have agreed to become the lead vocalist of The Invisible, around the time of the release of Here It Comes, while the band was under the management of Alex Rodriguez—but this possibility was unfortunately never explored. Cassie Conner of Pulsar 47 played flute on the self titled 2006 Invisible album that was never released. Jimmy Myers was Jenny Choi's bass player at the time of her first album. Blah, blah, blah... I think that's all (maybe)?
